FERDI EILBERG
Ferdi was born in Germany and trained under multiple Olympic Gold Medallist, Reiner Klimke, during which time he gained his German Bereiter and later his Reitlehrer Qualification with Honours. He was also awarded the german gold medal (Goldene Reiterabzeichnung) for success in both dressage and showjumping at advanced levels.
He moved to England in 1980 and has ridden for the British Dressage Team many times, winning team silver in the 1993 European Championships with ArunTor who he also partnered in the 1998 World Games in Rome. He was also shortlisted with Arun Tor and Demonstrator for the 1996 Olympics. Ferdi was dressage trainer to the british eventing team from 1982 - 92 and still coaches Mary King. He was appointed Director of Coaching to the british dressage team in 2002 and Performance Manager in 2003, the year the team won its first European medal, bronze, in 10 years. Ferdi, 55, has been awarded an honorary BHS Fellowship. He lives with his wife and three children who together run a training yard in near Redditch in Worcestershire.

MARIA EILBERG
Maria has won two European pony team silver medals and two Young Rider European team bronze medals. She joined the World Class Performance Squad in 2007 aged 23 and has since ridden on Nations Cups. She was chosen as travelling reserve rider for the 2006 World Championships in Aachen with her Young Rider horse Two Sox who was bought as an unbroken 3 yr. old. 2008 has been a very exciting season Maria and Two Sox have this year travelled to compete in Spain, Holland and Germany. In August they travelled to China as the reserve horse and rider for this years Olympic Games and in September won the Blue Waters Grand Prix Freestyle and became the overall British National Champions. In 2009 they were members of the European silver medal winning team in Windsor and are now aiming for a place on the team for the World Equestrian games in Kentucky 2010.

MICHAEL EILBERG
Michael rode his first affiliated dressage test in 2007 having first competed in pony, young rider and senior showjumping trials. He too has had a very busy season. In July 2008 he won his first Prix St.Georges at the Premier Show in Hartpury with Janeiro and was placed 2nd to Carl Hester in the Inter l at the Hartpury International. He qualified 5 horses for 7 national championships at the regionals. Woodlander Dornroschen also won the 6 yr. old National Shearwater Title at the Young Horse Championships in Addington where he also finished 3rd in the Young Horse PSG Championships with Marakov. Together with his horse Janeiro he won his first major title at the Nationals by winning the Advanced Medium Championship with 73%.
Michael joined the World Class Development squad at the beginning of 2009.
He won regional finals on three of his horses to qualify for the National Championships where he was runner up to Carl Hester in the Prix St. Georges and won his second National Title (the Advanced Medium Open Championship) on Dornroschen, as well as being placed 3rd in the same class on Torino. He has had a very good start to the year 2010 with having won the Intermediare 2 in Spain with Marakov. He has been well placed in both Spain and Saumur at Grand Prix level with Monet. |
