History of Mushroom Matrix
Mushroom Matrix is located in San Diego County in southern California and is a division of Golden Gourmet Mushrooms, Inc. (GGM). GGM has been an innovator in the USA specialty fresh mushroom industry for nearly 20 years and has introduced and expanded the availability of many new mushroom varieties to the USA market including Enoki, King Trumpet, Maitake, and Brown & White Beech Mushrooms. Consistent production and innovative packaging methodologies have increased the availability and quality of specialty mushrooms available to consumers which has contributed to a significant increase in the consumption of these very tasty, healthy and nutritious mushrooms in North America over the past two decades.

Recognizing the powerful effects of other mushroom species not commonly used for culinary purposes, Mushroom Matrix was formed to diversify   production to include powerful nutraceutical species such as Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), Turkey Tail (Coriolus versicola, Maitake (Grifola frondosa), Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), Eryngii (Pleurotus eryngii)   Buna shimeji (Hysizygus tessulatus), Antrodia (Antrodia camphorata), and   Lion's Mane (Hericium erinacea). The Mushroom Matrix team has developed proprietary strains of these potent mushrooms and utilizes proprietary growing methodologies to produce Certified Organic, dehydrated mushroom powders with high levels of bioactive and bioavailable compounds.
